High of 90 F forecasted for 6250 ft at South Lake Tahoe. Water temp 50 somethin’…

SYNOPSIS:

In a couple weeks, the complete Tahoe basin will be patchless. The Mrs. and I rolled up to do a quick ski via automobile. Park at the bottom of the patch, hike up two times, and bail. All in all, spent around 9 mins on the the snow.

Rest of the day, boating, beer, beer nuts, beats, and bombs over the lake.

Here it is….the infamous Tahoe Patch on July 4th, 2007…CAKED!

Obviously, I’m here to ski on snow. So I choose a much more snowy line. Here’s the line from the summit:

Now on the water, Zippy gets patriotic in Emerald Bay…

…but had a heart attack and fell into the deep blue

However, the crispness of the water cleared up his arteries, and he came back to life.

Yep, that’s snow up there…for now.

Time to fire up the BBQ. 666 yells at Jrosen32 that "this corn better be organic"
