Over 12 feet of base-building snow fell onto the slopes above 7,800 ft in only a few days. Monday was ridiculous blower, while Wednesday was classic, yet buttery, Sierra cement.

SICKTOR!

The Serpent storm rolled into the area on Friday and created some much needed chaos in Northern California. Power was lost, trees fell on parked cars, rains delivered flooding, crap flew everywhere and all over the major highways, and oh, yeah, tons of precipitation.

Early morning…..

I should be asleep….

Great, now my shoes are wet….

I hit the singles line just for a MOMENT at the Wall Chair, and ended up with this guy on wierd waterski looking snow skis…

Zippy off the top ridge of the Wall, goes for greatness prior to traverse track creation….

Meanwhile, down in the lower Cirque, Zippy goes for some flat-light FUN!

THREE….Gosh! I’m glad he’s OK.

666 didn’t have to look far for a pow turn…

but to reach more pow, his inner soul led him off a ledge….

…I heard ‘twister-spreads’ are coming back this year.

Zippy, finds a loose soul in lower Sisters…

But then drops it trying to perform a daffy off of this cliff…

Pimpin’ Frog had a rough day. He broke up with his girlfriend, used the wrong google lens color for the given light, and lost his Canon point and chute. But he still managed to slay some fluff!
