Location: Cardrona, New Zealand (between Queenstown & Wanaka)

Skiers: 666, Mrs. 666., Slim, and Squirrel99.

Synopsis: On the spring skiing schedule, we decided to show Mrs.666 and Squirrel a new spot. Granted Cardrona is not known as the steepest ski field of all of New Zealand, but it does give some varied terrain (Arcadia chutes), open-wide groomers, and some serious half-pipes. Also, there is lots of day touring options off the backside of far looker’s right of the mountain.

We lapped this all day, and had it all to ourselves…

But SQ99 didn’t mind at all…

And naturally, a visit to Cardrona isn’t complete without a stop the the historic Cardrona hotel for some hot drinks…

Good vibe here…

Mmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmm FOOD!!!!

But SQ99 and Slim got beat up by the local gang…
